Within the framework of the 3rd Festival of German-speaking Countries in Saint Petersburg there are 2 major Austrian program parts: Book exhibition, lectures and film screenings will take place in the library named after A.S. Griboedov. The program part “Retrospective. Austrian literature in cinema” is organized in the library “Ekaterinhoffskaya”. The program is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the book series “Austrian Library in St. Petersburg” (these are 5 Austrian films based on works of Austrian writers. These works were translated into Russian and published as part of the series “Austrian Library in St. Petersburg”).
