Visage(s) d‘Europe / Cultural Forum Paris

For Europe Day, EUNIC Paris organized with the ÖKF Paris and other European cultural institutes, as well as the collective FETART, the photo exhibition Visage(s) d’Europe. This exhibition in public space, in the heart of Paris was on display on the forecourt of the Paris City Hall, as well as on the fence around the Square de la Tour Saint Jacques. Photographs by 13 European artists are exhibited to praise the cultural diversity of Europe. The Austrian contribution is by Austrian photo artist Martin Essl and is a selection from his photographic essay “Le Château Rouge.”

The open-air exhibition was ceremonially opened on the weekend of Europe Day in the presence of Deputy Mayor for European Affairs Hermano Sanchez-Ruivo, 2 ambassadors and numerous cultural institute directors and artists.
Afterwards, a “Promenade Européenne” organized by EUNIC-Paris and the City of Paris took place in the footsteps of European artists.
